Our Assisted Performance System amplifies your input to the boot through the mechanical advantage of our Dual Pivot and Suspension Blade technology. The design boosts input by up to 26%, giving you more power and control with less energy. The boot's clean, consistent flex is combined with increased shock absorption through the shell for enhanced snow feel and contact. Like a full suspension bike, the combination lets you ski longer and more efficiently. Together with a 130-rated flex, this boot gives expert skiers every advantage for skiing any terrain the mountain. At 100mm wide, our medium-volume last complements the thermoformable liner to offer all-day comfort.

ASSISTED PERFORMANCE SYSTEM
Shadow is the first skiboot with an assisted performance & suspension system. This system, combined by two innovations: dual pivot and suspension blade, allow you to get more out into you putt in, it's an assisted efficiency. It's about transfer the power with less effort. We obtain 26% of rebound in more, using less human energy and phycical abilities.
DUAL PIVOT
On traditional boots on the market, you have a pivot point and two fix points very concentrated to each other. With the new shadow, you putt those fix points very far away from eachother, so create mechanical advantage, you emplify the energy in power. You will also engage the full length of the boot, instead of concentrated part.
SUSPENSION BLADE
The suspension blade is an external blade, and the upper cuff comes in between. With this new innovation, we have an excellent and smooth connection between upper and lower, to move together. That get you more absorption and suspension but also more power energy into your skiing. The upper elastomere adjust the flex feel upper part of the turn and also the snap and rebound.
Offers a progressive growth and adjustable flex. Indeed, by replacing Blade elastomer with soft black elastomer insert provided to soften the flex by 8%.
NEW ONE PIECE LINER
This new liner one piece will give you more comfortability. The padding is one piece, no break from the lower ankle up and no break in fit from lowerfoot to upper, it's all one piece. This gives you clean and conisstent fit. The fit anatomy follow the foot.
ASYMETRICAL TOE BOX
We added a new thing on our toe box: the shape doesn't across on the straight line but we created now a curve that create unbelievably comfortable toe box with really no pressure cross the top of the toes.
AUXETIC TECHNOLOGY
Auxetic Technology is a transformation of a bi-dimension material in a 3-dimension material during the thrmoformage. This effect will follow better the foot shapes and an amazing out of the box fit and personalization.
CORE CUSTOM LINER
Core Custom dedicated for all-mountain and freeride skiing utilizes Lange's Auxetic Technology to contour closely each foot shapes. Matched with 1 piece liner construction, Core Custom Tongue, and using a variety of materials and densities for customizable fit to provide comfort without sacrificing performance at each level.
R.B.T. TONGUE
The all-new innovative R.B.T. tongue captures skier’s exact movements delivering more performance rebound and reactive boost. Made with high energy polyurethane material and molded in a reactive honeycomb structure, the R.B.T. provides more dynamic flex, rebound and energetic power. R.B.T. allows every skier to be more balanced and harness all the power driven to and from the ski.
DUAL CORE
Utilizing our revolutionary new process, both soft and rigid versions of the most responsive high-performance plastics are simultaneously injected and targeted to key areas of the boot. The result of this innovative new process creates our proprietary sandwich shell construction – DUAL CORE By sandwiching a softer plastic core within more rigid plastic, we are able to drastically enhance elastic tension. So as you drive and flex into your boots, DUAL CORE actively compresses and expands – harnessing potential energy to deliver explosive power, snap, and rebound. Imagine World Cup precision and response, easy entry-and-exit, and a new level of ski boot performance as reactive and dynamic as your own body. - Hard plastic is targeted to the areas that transmit power and energy to the ski. - Softer plastic is targeted to the areas that wrap the foot and lower leg.
GRIPWALK® MOUNTED SOLES
Mounted GRIPWALK® soles feature a thick rubber tread and convex toe profile, offering increased traction and more natural foot roll for enhanced hiking and walking comfort. Integrated stiff pads guarantee optimized power transmission and full Alpine release function. Alpine DIN soles also available, sold separately.
100mm PERFORMANCE FIT
Lange's PERFORMANCE FIT provides an exact but comfortable 100mm last designed for skiers with medium volume feet or skiers seeking slightly less foot compression for increased all-day comfort.
